Bread Knife Classic 1891 (S) features a classic design inspired by the first Morakniv, with a red-stained birch handle that sits comfortably in the hand. The 24.6 cm blade has a serrated edge, made from stainless steel.

The errated edge makes it easy to slice through everything from rustic sourdough loaves to soft brioches with precision – without squashing or tearing the bread.

Safe and efficient in the kitchen 

This well-balanced knife has a barrel-shaped handle for a comfortable grip and an integrated finger guard for safe handling. Stainless steel ferrules protect the wood from moisture and bacteria. The rounded spine and tip make it easy to scrape the board and reduce the risk of injury.

The 24.6 cm blade in Swedish stainless steel (10C28Mo2) has a recycling rate of over 80% and a hardness of 57 HRC. It is 2.5 mm thick with a serrated edge and an 18° sharpening angle per side (36° total).
