About the product

Amberg Full Flat (S)

Amberg Full Flat (S) is a versatile outdoor knife that can be used both as a cooking knife and for carving in nature. It features a full flat grind for clean cuts and easier cleaning, with an extended edge that provides more surface area over the cutting board.

Cooking knife for outdoor life and everyday use

Amberg Full Flat is designed to perform both in the camp kitchen and in the field. The flat grind, long used on kitchen and food preparation knives, is now reintroduced in outdoor use to provide better cutting performance and lower friction through food. At the same time, the blade is strong enough for light carving and practical outdoor tasks.

Sleek, functional, and easy to clean

The blade has a polished surface that reduces friction and makes it easy to clean even in the field. The combination of hygienic design and durable stainless steel makes Amberg Full Flat an excellent choice for outdoor cooking – without compromising on balance or strength.

Improved handle for all grips and conditions

Amberg features a thoughtfully designed handle with a flatter shape that fits more users and various grips. It narrows towards the front, with ridges along the spine for better control during precision work. The fine friction pattern has been laboratory tested to ensure a secure grip even when wet, cold, or greasy. The three-component handle combines a sturdy PP core with an outer TPE layer for the perfect balance of strength and comfort.

The ambidextrous Click-On sheath can be carried on either the left or right side and comes with a belt loop. With the included Click-On Mount, you can easily attach your knife to your backpack, bike, ATV, boat, or other gear for quick access. Add extra Click-On Mounts to keep your Amberg close at hand wherever you need it.

Full Flat grind with secondary bevel in Swedish stainless steel

The 108 mm blade is 3.2 mm thick and made of Swedish stainless 14C28N steel. It is hardened and cryogenically treated for high strength and edge retention, with a hardness of 58 HRC. The flat grind with secondary bevel provides low cutting resistance and clean cuts, while the optimized angle makes the knife equally suited for food preparation and carving. The knife is not ferro rod compatible due to its polished spine.
