The 3.2 mm thick blade is made of Swedish stainless steel (12C27) with a hardness of 58 HRC. The black PVD coating protects against scratches and provides some corrosion resistance. The knife has a full tang for strength and stability and features a Scandi Grind edge.

A tribute to Lok-Anders from Mora

The knife is named after Lok-Anders Mattsson, who together with Krång-Johan Eriksson founded the knife factory in Östnor in 1912 that is now Morakniv. The sleek Ash Wood series includes four knives with black blades and ash wood handles. Lok BlackBlade is made in Mora, Sweden, with over 130 years of Swedish knife-making tradition.
