This website is owned and operated by Morakniv, which is referred to as “we”, “our”, etc. All functions, all material and service on the site are offered to you as a visitor on the condition that you accept all terms and policies provided in the following document.
Morakniv AB sells knives and accessories, under the brands Morakniv and Frosts, on morakniv.com in accordance with Swedish legislation and the Distance and Door-to-Door Sales Act (Lag (2005:59). The company is registered in Sweden.
Through the online shop, Morakniv sells to private individuals. Morakniv does not sell to companies for resale through the online shop. In cases of suspected resale, Morakniv reserves the right to deny the purchase/cancel the order.
Morakniv reserves the right to update these purchase terms if necessary. We also reserve the right to deny service/purchase at any time.
By visiting morakniv.com, the visitor guarantees that they have the legal right to use the information made available. As the owner of the Morakniv and Frosts brands, Morakniv holds all rights to the material and logos published on the website.
Morakniv disclaims all responsibility for any losses, damages, injuries (direct or indirect), personal injuries, etc. that may affect the buyer.
Morakniv is not responsible for content on external pages to which links may occur. Morakniv also disclaims all responsibility for any risks that may arise in connection with these external links.
In the event of a dispute, Swedish legislation applies and such disputes are thus settled in Swedish court.
1. General Terms
You are aware that any content you provide (excluding credit card information) may be transferred unencrypted. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer across networks.
You agree not to reproduce, copy or resell our material or our goods without written consent from us.
Please read these terms carefully and keep them in mind when you visit and use our website.
Morakniv is not responsible for any outdated information and facts on the site and reserves the right to change the site's content at any time. Morakniv is also not responsible for links and material to or from third parties. It is the visitor’s responsibility to stay updated about the terms and policies that apply on these third‑party sites. Any complaints about third parties should be directed directly to them.
When ordering laser‑engraved products, we reserve the right to refund and cancel orders with text or image content that we consider offensive.
NOTE – Laser Engraving
Please note that when choosing laser engraving, the product packaging must be opened to enable the marking. The packaging is then restored as well as possible before delivery. However, there is a certain risk that the packaging will no longer be in its original condition and may therefore appear less presentable.
2. Payment Responsibility and Age Limit
Placing an order via morakniv.com entails a payment obligation. As a customer, you accept this payment responsibility by agreeing to our purchase terms at checkout and clicking the “Order items” button.
Morakniv does not process orders to persons under 18 years of age without guardian approval. By accepting these purchase terms, you certify that you meet the age requirement. If you are outside Sweden, you also certify that you are of legal age and have the legal right to place orders in the country or region where you are located.
3. Personal Data
The personal data you provide to Morakniv AB is handled with the utmost respect and in accordance with GDPR. By submitting your personal data, you consent to us using the collected information to fulfill our obligations to you and provide the service you expect. We need your personal data for the following purposes:
- To process your order.
- To notify you via email and/or SMS regarding delivery status, or to contact you in the event of issues with your order delivery.
- To send information about events and campaigns at Morakniv, e.g., newsletters.
Morakniv AB does not disclose personal data to third parties.

In this policy, we want to inform you about the type, scope, and purpose for which we collect personal data when you interact with Morakniv. 4. Prices
All our prices are stated including VAT, in SEK or EUR. All sales to Sweden and the rest of the EU include VAT. VAT is shown at checkout before you place your order and is also specified on the order confirmation sent to you via email after ordering. The total amount also shows any shipping cost (read more under Shipping).
Morakniv reserves the right for potential errors in product and price information or other website content. In the event of inaccuracies, Morakniv reserves the right to correct these afterward. We reserve the right for price errors, errors in campaign codes, price adjustments, sold-out items, stock differences, technical issues, changes in technical specifications, and any typographical errors on our site or in our advertisements. We reserve the right to cancel incorrect orders.
Any campaigns in Morakniv’s online shop are always time‑limited. To take advantage of various campaigns, we sometimes issue discount codes that must be entered in the cart before you submit your order. The codes are generally valid for one purchase only and cannot be combined with other offers. We ask users of discount codes to carefully verify that the price of their order is correct before clicking “Order items”. If the price is not correct, please contact customer service.
Morakniv reserves the right to cancel orders in cases of misuse or improper use of campaigns or discount codes. We do not take responsibility for codes or campaigns that have been published or distributed on websites or by senders other than Morakniv and morakniv.com.
4.1 Sales to countries outside the EU
Please note that orders shipped to countries outside the EU may incur fees such as customs charges. These fees are not included in the total amount shown at checkout or on the order confirmation. The buyer is responsible for informing themselves about the fees, laws, and regulations applicable in their country. We recommend contacting your local customs authority or equivalent organization before placing your order for more information regarding such fees.
This means that the seller is responsible for paying all import-related costs, including customs and any taxes, until the goods are delivered to you as the customer. You therefore do not need to pay any additional import‑related fees upon delivery. However, local import regulations may still affect delivery time, and it is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that the product is permitted for import into the USA.
5. Payment
Payment is made via one of our payment partners (Stripe, Klarna, PayPal, Swish). You will then receive an email with an order confirmation verifying that your order has reached Morakniv. Please ensure your email address is entered correctly at checkout. If you have not received an order confirmation within 24 hours, first check your spam folder. If it is not found there, contact us via the information on our Contact page.

8. Warranty
Our products are covered by our lifetime warranty, whose details are presented here on our website: Our Warranty. The warranty applies only to the product’s original purchaser. Broken knife tips, discoloration from food, and rust stains are not covered. The warranty does not apply to damage caused by improper handling or accidents.
We guarantee that all our knives are free from defects in materials, construction and workmanship for the product’s entire lifetime, under normal use and provided that the care instructions on this website are followed. If the knife is defective in materials or workmanship, we will repair it free of charge or replace it with the same or a comparable knife if the model has been discontinued. The warranty does not entitle the user to a refund.
Warranty claims are made by contacting customer service. Be prepared to provide your full name, order number, and the relevant product. Any replacement delivery is done free of charge. For warranty claims, Morakniv covers shipping costs, which is why it is important to use the shipping documents provided by Morakniv. In the event of a dispute, we follow the decision of the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN). (Read more about ARN and your consumer rights at www.arn.se.)

9. Force majeure
We consider ourselves exempt from fulfilling our obligations under these terms in the event of changes in legislation, government actions, labor disputes, fire, flooding, war, terrorism, sabotage, major accidents, or similar events.
10. Comments, feedback and submitted material
If you submit material to us (through comments, competition participation, or similar) or otherwise contribute ideas, suggestions, image or video material (without us requesting it), you grant us permission to use such material without limitations. You grant us permission to modify, copy, publish, distribute, and translate such materials/comments.
We reserve the right to monitor, edit, and/or delete content published on our website to ensure it is not perceived as offensive/illegal or otherwise contrary to these terms.
You agree that your comments and submitted materials do not violate any rules regarding copyright, trademark rights, or similar. You also agree that your comments are not offensive, threatening, or otherwise degrading. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your comments and materials.
We take no responsibility for comments and materials published by you as a visitor/user or by any third party.
11. Cookies
A cookie is a file sent from a website, e.g., www.morakniv.com, to your computer where it is stored either in memory (session cookies) or as a text file (text‑based cookies). Cookies are used to store login information and your shopping cart when browsing our site. Please note that we do not use cookies to store personal information about you.
12. Morakniv Adventure
The minimum age for participation in Morakniv Adventure is 18 years. By accepting these terms in connection with registration/purchase of the event fee, you confirm that you meet these requirements. Morakniv reserves the right to deny minors participation if grounds exist.
If we are forced to cancel Morakniv Adventure before the event starts, you are always entitled to a refund of the fee you paid.
Registration is binding. After the 14‑day cancellation period has expired, your right of withdrawal is forfeited. You then cannot cancel the course and receive a refund of the registration fee.
Participation in Morakniv Adventure is at your own risk. Morakniv disclaims all responsibility for losses, damages, injuries (direct or indirect), personal injuries, etc., that may affect the participant. Morakniv recommends participants take out a suitable accident insurance and/or home insurance. Morakniv cannot be held liable for injuries or illness that may be related to the event. Morakniv is not responsible for obstacles or limitations to the event caused by circumstances beyond our control and that could not reasonably have been foreseen, avoided, or overcome, such as natural disasters, extreme weather conditions or government decisions. Morakniv is not responsible for personal belongings or property that the participant brings to Morakniv Adventure. Morakniv is also not liable for losses or damages caused by crime, accidents, or another person’s actions or failure to act during the event.
