Compact size, full functionality Amberg
Compact is built on the same solid construction as the other Amberg models but in a shorter format with a 3-inch blade. It’s light, well-balanced, and strong enough for everyday outdoor use – perfect as a more portable knife for day trips, camping, and hunting.
Small but capable – for outdoor life and everyday use
Developed to be carried on the belt and used in the field for hiking, fishing, hunting, and camping. The short blade provides high precision for carving, fire preparation, and other detailed work, while the ground spine is compatible with a ferro rod. A light yet capable companion for all kinds of outdoor adventures.
Secure grip and smooth handling
Amberg features a thoughtfully designed handle with a flatter shape that fits more users and various grips. It narrows towards the front, with ridges along the spine for better control during precision work. The fine friction pattern has been laboratory tested to ensure a secure grip even when wet, cold, or greasy. The symmetrical sheath can be used by both right- and left-handed users.
Swedish stainless steel with Scandi grind and profile-ground edge
The 77 mm blade is 2 mm thick and made of Swedish stainless steel (12C27) with a hardness of 56.5 HRC. The combination of the steel and the Scandi and profile grinds provides high precision for controlled cuts and makes the knife easy to sharpen and maintain in the field. The ground spine is compatible with a ferro rod.
