The knife can be used either as a splitting knife to split wood into kindling for fire-starting, or as a drawknife to remove material or carve with both hands.
The dual handles are made from stained Scandinavian birch and shaped for comfort even during extended carving sessions. The knife comes with a plastic sheath.
The 2.5 mm thick, 115 mm long blade is made from Swedish stainless steel (12C27) with over 80% recycled content and a hardness of 56.5 HRC. The stainless steel is durable, holds its edge well, and requires minimal maintenance.
The knife is assembled and heat-treated at our factory in Mora, Sweden, with over 130 years of knife-making tradition.
