A tribute to Dalarna and craftsmanship

The Dala Red and Siljan Blue™ colors draw inspiration from Mora’s heritage – where the iconic red cottages of Dalarna meet the deep blue waters of Lake Siljan. A landscape of craftsmanship and tradition that continues to shape every Morakniv made in Mora.

Classic design with a modern touch

Basic 546 (S) is the stainless counterpart to the classic 511 – a knife developed for professional use in both dry and damp environments. The polymer handle with friction grip provides comfort and control, while the pronounced finger guard ensures safe handling during detailed work.

For everyday reliability

Designed for construction, industrial, and maintenance work where dependability matters most. The stainless steel resists moisture and dirt, and the symmetrical polymer sheath allows easy attachment to a belt for quick access.

Swedish stainless steel blade

The 91 mm long and 2.0 mm thick blade is made from recycled Swedish stainless steel (12C27) with a hardness of 58 HRC. It retains its sharpness for a long time, requires minimal maintenance, and performs consistently day after day.
