A hook knife – also known as a curved knife – is specially made for carving concave shapes like spoons, cups, and bowls from wood. The curved blade allows you to work deeper into the wood without tearing or damaging the surface. At Morakniv, you’ll find both single-edged and double-edged hook knives made from Swedish stainless steel that stays sharp and requires little maintenance.
