Two Models – Tailored for Your Needs

We currently offer two insulation knives, each with features suited for different types of insulation work.

Insulation Knife 7350 (S) – Stainless Steel for Demanding Jobs

This serrated insulation knife features a stainless steel blade made from recycled Swedish steel - perfect for cutting through mineral wool with strength and precision. The 1.4 mm thick blade and specially designed edge provide both control and cutting power. Thanks to the stainless steel, the knife requires less maintenance - ideal for working in damp environments.

Insulation Knife 1442 (C) – Carbon Steel for Maximum Sharpness

If you prefer carbon steel and want a knife you can easily resharpen over and over, the 1442 is a sharp and cost-effective option. The 1.0 mm thick blade is built for cutting fiber-coated mineral wool, where control and strength are essential. Just remember - carbon steel can rust, so always wipe and oil the blade after use to keep it in good shape.

Ergonomic Handles That Make a Difference

Both models feature ergonomic handles made from durable polypropylene-based polymer with a solid finger guard - designed for safe and easy use, even during long work sessions. The handle stays secure in your hand, no matter the weather or material.

A Knife Built for the Job

An insulation knife is often used in tough conditions. That’s why every detail matters - from blade length to the balance between the handle and the cutting edge. Our insulation knives are built to last. They’ve been tested in Swedish environments and developed for Nordic craftsmanship.
  • 7350: approx. 150 mm
  • 1442: approx. 135 mm

When Do You Need an Insulation Knife?

You’ll want an insulation knife when working on walls, ceilings, or floors - especially when cutting mineral wool or other thick, fiber-based boards. Regular utility knives won’t do the job. Our knives are designed to deliver clean, straight, and safe cuts, even through large volumes of material.

They’re suitable for new construction, renovation, retrofitting, windproofing, and ventilation work - or any task involving insulation around pipes, wiring, or windows.
