Tips for maintenance and safety
For your knife to last a long time, proper maintenance is essential. Always wipe the blade after use, especially if you work with wet materials. If you choose a carbon steel knife - e.g. Morakniv Basic 511 - we recommend that you oil the blade regularly to avoid rust.For your safety, the knife should always be kept in the case provided. Several of our models have holsters that can be easily attached to the belt using the Morakniv Smart Button System - perfect for keeping your knife close at hand and for attaching two or more knives together.
