This website is operated by Morakniv. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Morakniv. Morakniv offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.
Morakniv AB is a producer and vendor of knives and accessories under the brands Morakniv and Frosts. On the website www.morakniv.se we sell our products to private individuals (not to companies) according to Swedish law and regulations, as stated by the the Distance and Home Sales Act (Act (2005:59). The company is registered in Sweden.
Via e-commerce, Morakniv sells to private individuals. Morakniv does not sell to companies for resale via e-commerce. In case of suspicion of resale, We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
Morakniv reserves the right to update these terms of purchase if there is reason to do so. We also reserve the right to refuse service/purchase at any time.
By visiting morakniv.se, the visitor guarantees that he/she has the legal right to use the information made available. As the owner of the Morakniv and Frosts brands, Morakniv holds all rights to the material and logos published on the website.
Morakniv disclaims all liability for any losses, damages, injuries (direct or indirect), personal injuries, etc. that may be suffered by the buyer.
Morakniv is not responsible for the content of external sites to which links may be provided. Morakniv also disclaims all responsibility for any risks that may arise in connection with these external links.
In the event of a dispute, Swedish law applies and these disputes are thus settled in Swedish courts.
1. General Terms and Conditions
You are aware that any content you share (excluding credit card details) may be transmitted unencrypted. Credit card information is always encrypted when transmitted over networks.
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us.
Please read these terms and conditions carefully and bear them in mind when visiting and using our website.
Morakniv does not take responsibility for any dated information and facts on the site and reserves the right to change the content of the site at any time. Morakniv also takes no responsibility for links and materials to or from third parties. It is the visitor's responsibility to update themselves on the terms and policies that apply to these third-party sites. Any complaints about third parties should be addressed directly to them.
When ordering laser engraved products, we reserve the right to refund and cancel orders with text or image content that we find offensive.
Liability and age of consent
Placing an order on Morakniv.se makes you liable. You accept this liability by accepting these Terms of Service and by placing your order when clicking “Place order” in the check out.
By using this site, you are required to be at least 18 years of age. You are also required to be of the age as that your state, province of residence, and country, require for use of websites and online purchases, and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site. By accepting these terms you confirm that you fulfill these age requirements.
3. Privacy policy and personal information
When ordering from Morakniv.se you will be asked to fill in your personal information. By making a purchase you accept that this information may be stored in accordance with Morakniv privacy policy in order to fulfill our agreement to you as our customer. In accordance to the law of GDPR you have the right to know the information Morakniv has registered about you. If the information is erroneous, incomplete or irrelevant, you may ask to have your information corrected and/or removed. If this is the case please contact us by e-mail (shop(at)morakniv.se).

4. prices
All our prices include VAT in SEK or EUR. All sales to Sweden and other EU countries are subject to VAT. The VAT is visible at the checkout before you place your order and is also specified on the order confirmation sent to you by email after ordering. The total amount also includes any shipping costs (read more under Shipping).
Price- and product information as well as other information on the website can be subjectto change and Morakniv take reservations concerning any possible errors. Moraknivhas the right to correct any possible errors. We take reservations concerningprice errors, errors concerning discount codes, price adjustments, products outof stock, inventory errors, adjustments in technical specifications andpossible typos on our website as well as in advertisements. Morakniv has theright to cancel any order which has apparent errors.
Potential campaigns on Morakniv.se web shop are always limited. To use these campaigns we sometimes use promotional codes that are to be stated in the check-out process before placing your order. The promotional codes are to be used for one purchase only and cannot be combined with other campaigns and special prices. Please examine your total amount carefully before placing your order to make sure the correct discounts are applied. If you have questions and problems with using promotional codes, please contact our customer support.
Morakniv holds the right to cancel any order where misuse and/or incorrect use of campaigns and promotional codes are assumed.Morakniv is not held responsible for promotional codes and campaigns published and/or distributed by third-parties.
4.1 Sales to non-EU countries
For orders for deliveries outside of the EU, Morakniv do not collect VAT, GST, duties and/or taxes, etc. for the products (“Charges”), and Morakniv can therefore not state what your total price will be (including such Charges). You as a customer are responsible for paying all Charges related to the products, as you are the importer of the products. We recommend you contact your local customs for details related to such Charges before placing an order. In case you refuse to pay such Charges, you will not receive the products.

Payments are done through one of our payment processors (Stripe, Klarna, PayPal, Swish).After payment you will receive an order confirmation email. Be careful when entering the email address in the checkout in order to receive the order confirmation. If you have not received a confirmation within 24 hours, please check the spam folder in your email client in case it has been placed there and if not, contact us through the form on morakniv.se/support/kontakt/

Free shipping on orders over 1000kr/100€/$200
For orders under 1000kr/100€/$200, the shipping cost is automatically calculated at checkout.

ATTENTION! Our shipping providers cannot deliver to PO boxes.
7.1 Deliveries in Sweden
You are asked to enter your e-mail address and phone number during the checkout process. This enables the shipping agent to notify you once your order is ready for pick up at your local agent or delivery to the address provided. As soon as your order has left the Morakniv warehouse, you will receive information from the shipping agent about your package and the package ID. You can use the package ID to monitor the status of your package. For shipping in Sweden we use PostNord ans DHL. Postnords shipping is svanenmärkt and DHL are using the alternative "Green shipping"
Once the parcel has arrived at the delivery point, a notification will be sent to you.
If you live in Sweden and the products in your order are in stock, your order leaves our warehouse within 3-5 days. If your product(s) aren’t in stock, it may take an additional 5-10 working days before we can ship your order. We reserve the right to change or alter these estimated times of delivery at any time.
If parts of your order have different times of delivery, we will ship your order once all products in your order are available. This means that you will receive a single delivery for all the products ordered.
If your order is delayed for any reason, we will contact you. Your order will leave our warehouse when all products in your order are available. You always have the right to cancel your order if delays in our handling may arise.
7.2 Deliveries outside Sweden
We ship orders to countries within the European Union (EU) as well as to Norway, Iceland, Switzerland and the United States, with some exceptions (see list above).
If the products in your order are in stock, your order leaves our warehouse within 3-5 days. If your product(s) aren’t in stock, it may take an additional 5-10 working days before we can ship your order. We reserve the right to change or alter these estimated times of delivery at any time.
The delivery time to recipients living outside Sweden will be slightly longer than the delivery time within Sweden. For more detailed information, please contact us at (shop(at)morakniv.se), and we will help you.
If parts of your order have different times of delivery, we will ship your order once all products in your order are available. This means that you will receive a single delivery for all the products ordered.
If your order is delayed for any reason, we will contact you. Your order will leave our warehouse when all products in your order are available. You always have the right to cancel your order if delays in our handling may arise.
7.3 Unclaimed packages
For any uncollected products (e.g. due to incorrect address or contact details, or unsuccessful deliveries due to courier not being able to reach you, or non-payment of the Charges (if applicable)) you will be charged an administrative cost: Sweden – 250 SEK, EU – EUR thirty (€ 30), and outside of EU – EUR forty (€ 40), however not exceeding the total order value.
The package is usually available at your local agent for 14 days after day of arrival. For questions about your package, you are always welcome to contact our customer support (shop(at)morakniv.se).
8. Right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw within 14 days. The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you receive the products. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform our customer support via e-mail. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired. If you need assistance in carrying out the right to withdraw, please contact our customer support. The right to withdraw does not apply to custom products like laser-engraved knives. When ordering laser-engraved knives the responsibility for the content of the engraving lies on the customer and we engrave exactly the text written by the customer at the time of purchase.
9. Return policy
Morakniv values our relationship with you, and offers you the option to return most products you purchase directly from us. For all purchases not made directly from Morakniv, please check the return policy of the dealer/agent from which you purchased your product.
If you wish to return a product bought on morakniv.se it must be returned within 14 days after the order date, in its original condition and original packaging. You are liable for any diminished value of the products resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the same. This means the products should not have been damaged, soiled, washed, altered or worn and that any labels or tags should be intact. The buyer is obliged to pay the cost for the fright home to Morakniv. If you wish to return your product, always contact us first by sending an e-mail to shop(at)morakniv.se.

9.1 Returning a product
Send an email to shop(atmorakniv.se. State your order number and the product in question. Please note that you must always contact customer service before making a return.
When contacting our customer support to register your return, they can provide you with a shipping label. We recommend you to choose this method for return. For using this shipping label we will charge 99 SEK within Sweden, 15 EUR outside of Sweden for the refund.
You can also buy your own postage, but please note that the package must be traceable and delivered to the door (Cannot be sent as “Recommended letter”).
If applicable, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment as soon as possible.
9.2 Condition of the goods on return
When returning, the packaging must be unbroken and intact, so remember to protect the original packaging with packaging so that it cannot be damaged in transport. All accessories, such as the original packaging, instructions for use and accompanying accessories must be included in the return. If the goods cannot be resold upon return due to, for example, destruction of the original packaging or other defects, you may be liable for compensation for such loss of value.
If the product is not complete when returned, or otherwise affected in a way that reduces the value of the product, Morakniv reserves the right to make a price deduction or not accept the return. Please note that returns are only accepted if the product is unused. This means that if the product has decreased in value as a result of you handling it to a greater extent than necessary, you may be liable to pay compensation for such loss of value.
10. Refunds
If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment as soon as possible. Please note that this may take some working days.
In the event of a return, a refund will be made as soon as we have received and approved the return. Please note that it may take a couple of banking days before the amount is in your account.
11. Warranty
Our products have a life time warranty. The terms are presented on our website: Our warranty. This warranty extends only to the product’s original purchaser. Broken knife tips, discolorations from food and rust spots are not covered. The guarantee excludes damage caused by misuse or accident.
We guarantee that all our knives are free from defects in materials, construction and workmanship for the lifetime of the product, with normal use and provided that the care instructions here on the website are followed. If the knife is faulty in terms of materials or workmanship, we will repair it free of charge, or exchange it for an identical knife or for one of equivalent value if the model has been discontinued. The guarantee does not give the right to a refund.
Claims are made by contacting Morakniv customer support. We will ask for your name, order number, and what product you wish to discuss. If the guarantee is applicable, Morakniv will pay for the freight cost when providing you with a new product. It is important that you use the freight documents provided by our customer support. If disputes may arise, we will follow the guidelines of Swedish Allmäna Reklamationsnämnden (read more about them and your rights as a consumer at www.arn.se).

12. Force majeure
Morakniv is not liable for any non-performance caused by circumstances beyond our control, which directly or indirectly prevents, obstructs or renders production, delivery or freight uneconomical until such obstacle has been removed (force majeure). Such circumstances shall be deemed to include difficulties to procure raw materials as well as other difficulties and disturbances, including but not limited to war, riot, labour conflicts, fire, flood, storm, accident, fuel or power shortages, transportation shortages, obstacles or interruptions regarding transportation at sea and breakdowns or interruptions of any kind as regards to our equipment or facilities, which are deemed necessary for the performance of our agreements’ obligations.
13. User comments, feedback and other submissions
If, at our request, you send certain specific submissions (for example contest entries) or without a request from us you send creative ideas, suggestions, proposals, plans, or other materials, whether online, by email, by postal mail, or otherwise (collectively, ‘comments’), you agree that we may, at any time, without restriction, edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate and otherwise use in any medium any comments that you forward to us. We are and shall be under no obligation (1) to maintain any comments in confidence; (2) to pay compensation for any comments; or (3) to respond to any comments.
We may, but have no obligation to, monitor, edit or remove content that we determine in our sole discretion are unlawful, offensive, threatening, libelous, defamatory, pornographic, obscene or otherwise objectionable or violates any party’s intellectual property or these Terms of Service.
You agree that your comments will not violate any right of any third-party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, personality or other personal or proprietary right. You further agree that your comments will not contain libelous or otherwise unlawful, abusive or obscene material, or contain any computer virus or other malware that could in any way affect the operation of the Service or any related website. You may not use a false e-mail address, pretend to be someone other than yourself, or otherwise mislead us or third-parties as to the origin of any comments. You are solely responsible for any comments you make and their accuracy.
We take no responsibility and assume no liability for any comments posted by you or any third-party.
14. cookies
A cookie is a file sent from a website, such as www.morakniv.se to your computer where it is stored either in memory (session cookies) or as a text file (text-based cookies). Cookies are used to store login information as well as your shopping cart when you browse our site. Please note that we do not use cookies to store personal information about you.
15. Morakniv Adventure
Minimum age for participation in Morakniv Adventure is 18 years of age. By accepting these Terms in connection with a purchase of an entry to the event, you also confirm that you fulfill these requirements. Morakniv holds the right to deny participation of underage participants if necessary.
If we are forced to cancel Morakniv Adventure before it starts, you will always be entitled to a refund for the entry fee you have paid.
Registration has binding force. Once the cooling-off period (14 days after your order has been placed) has ended, so does your right to receive a refund in the event that you cancel.
Partcipants attending Morakniv Adventure do so at their own risk. By accepting these Terms of Registration participants agree to assume all risk involved by participating in the event. Morakniv disclaims all responsibility of potential losses, damages, injuries (immediate or collateral), personal injuries, etc. that can affect the participant. Morakniv recommends that participants take out appropriate insurance. Morakniv cannot be held accountable for any injuries or diseases that can be related to the event. Morakniv is not accountable for any obstacles or limitation of the event that is a result of events out of our control which it cannot reasonably have been expected to anticipate or avoid. This includes events such as natural disasters, extreme weather conditions or government decisions. Morakniv is not accountable for personal belongings or equipment that the participants bring to Morakniv Adventure. Morakniv is not accountable for losses and injuries resulting from crime, accident or other people’s acts (or failure to act) during the event.
